What is DASH? // the app's purpose

DASH is a personal productivity dashboard iOS app for developers who use AI coding tools. Developers check two things many times a day — "how much AI tool quota do I have left?" and "did I miss an important email?". DASH's purpose is to reduce both checks to one app, one screen.

  • Shows session and weekly usage limits of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) as gauges
  • Surfaces only the important unread Gmail, and marks mail you've checked as read
  • A personal tool — no subscription, and no server that stores your data

Google data use // what and why

DASH requests Google account access only for the purposes below.

PermissionPurpose
gmail.modify Needed to read the sender, subject, and snippet of unread mail to show the list, and to mark mail as read in Gmail when you check it off. The app never sends or deletes mail, and makes no change other than marking as read.
openid · email Needed to identify each linked account's email address so multiple accounts can be shown separately.

Mail data stays on your device. Importance triage transiently processes only the sender, subject, and part of the body — stored nowhere, and never used for advertising or model training. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Usage dashboard

Shows Claude Code and Codex session and weekly limits as gauges. Forecasts when you'll run out at the current pace, alongside reset times.

Unread sidebar

Rules and AI triage your unread Gmail together. Only mail you'd lose something by missing — deadlines, payments, security — stays up front; newsletters fold away quietly.

Learns your criteria

One line like "Notion alerts don't matter" changes how mail is triaged. Natural-language prompts compile into Gmail search rules and semantic criteria.

Privacy // by design

DASH stores no user data on any server.

  • Mail and usage data are processed and kept on your device only
  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in the iOS Keychain
  • AI triage sends only the sender, subject, and a snippet — stored nowhere
  • No ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs
